Michael Delcour
Legal Technology Expert and Attorney

About me
I’m a legal technology specialist and trial attorney focused on tackling cybercrimes and data security breaches. I have experience working at both the federal and state levels, focusing on the forensic acquisition and use of digital evidence. Currently, I operate as a data and innovation specialist at Prairie State Legal Services. This nonprofit organization works hard to ensure equal justice for those in need across 36 Northern and Central Illinois counties.Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to handle various cases, including internal investigations, tax audits, complex civil litigation, and white-collar fraud. I’ve also led the charge on cybercrime and forensic IT investigations, managed electronic discovery efforts, and guided forensic IT teams through critical incidents after data breaches. I’ve enjoyed managing technology at several law firms for nearly twenty years, ensuring they stay at the forefront of legal innovation.
